* A long story here relating to the Art Director of a play (Jaye) who
was requested to have a portrait of the leading lady (Jaye) to hang
on the stage for the second half of the play. The request was made at
dress rehersal, 24 hours before opening. Slight terror, as she points
out, "Not only had I never done a self portrait, I had never even
done a portrait!" Alas, sometime after midnight, she stripped the
matt and mount from my B&W print, glued it to some canvas, inked
it, oiled it, and acrylic'ed it all within a couple of hours...and it
hung on stage the next night. In a few wekks I'll get up the Black
& White original.
